Privacy policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026.
This policy explains what Proof Engine collects when you visit the site or get in touch, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We review it periodically. For any privacy question, email kirill@proofengine.studio.
Proof Engine respects your privacy and only uses your information to respond to and deliver work you ask us about.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and a limited amount of technical data:
- Contact form details: name, work email, company, website, product link, company stage, and optional fields such as primary need, budget range, timeline, preferred contact channel, and a contact handle or phone number.
- An optional
.mdbrief you choose to upload, and anything you write in open-text questions. - Booking details if you schedule a call through Cal.com.
- Basic technical and usage data (such as approximate location, device and browser type, and pages viewed) collected through analytics, only after you accept analytics cookies.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and route it to the right next step.
- Schedule and prepare for calls you request.
- Deliver, support, and improve our work and the website.
- Meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we will not add you to a newsletter without your consent.
How form submissions are handled
Contact form submissions are delivered to Proof Engine by email at kirill@proofengine.studio. Until our form processor goes live, the form composes the message in your own email client and you send it yourself — in that case the content travels directly from your mailbox to ours. Once a form-handling provider is configured, submissions are delivered through it instead. Either way, submissions are used to reply to your request; we do not run automated decision-making on your data and we do not send automated marketing sequences in response to a form.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are turned off by default and only load after you choose "Accept analytics" in the consent banner. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's stored preference in your browser.
Google Analytics collects aggregated, largely anonymized usage data such as pages visited and session duration. You can also opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers that may process your data on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Website analytics (consent-gated) | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Cal.com | Call booking and scheduling | cal.com/privacy |
| Apollo.io | Visitor identification and analytics (consent-gated) | apollo.io/privacy-policy |
| Form-handling provider | Delivering contact form submissions by email | Provided on request |
Data retention
We keep contact and booking information only as long as needed to respond to your request and for reasonable follow-up, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the providers listed above. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' safeguards for international data transfers.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these, email kirill@proofengine.studio and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep access limited to those delivering the work you asked about.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools or practices change. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Please check back periodically for the latest version.
