Services · Application & legacy modernization

Modernize the system you have, without stopping the business.

Understand it, untangle it, rebuild what has to be rebuilt, and move it one slice at a time. For legacy systems, aging applications and architectures that no longer fit the product.

What is included

Three areas, from understanding to moving.

We keep the business running while the system changes underneath it.

Understand

Know what you have before you touch it.
  • Technical audit and due diligence
  • Architecture review
  • A map of dependencies and risks

Rebuild

Change what has to change.
  • Monolith-to-services transformation
  • Application replatforming
  • Frontend modernization
  • Technology stack migration

Move

Land it safely.
  • Cloud migration
  • System replacement and decommissioning
  • Technical-debt pay-down
Typical situations

When teams come to us.

Slow

Every release takes longer and breaks something

We find where the time goes, then change the parts that slow you down first, not everything at once.

Stuck

The people who built it have left

We map what is running, document it, and make it safe to change, before any rewrite is considered.

Cost

The cloud bill grows faster than the business

We find the waste in how the system is built and deployed, and cut cost without breaking the flows the business relies on.

What you get

Deliverables you will keep.

Concrete artifacts, documented and handed over.

A map of the current system and its risks
A target architecture and a stepwise plan
The first rebuilt or migrated components
Tests that prove behaviour is preserved
Documentation and a runbook
A decommissioning plan for what goes away
How to start

Three ways to begin.

Larger work starts with a short paid discovery.

FAQ

Questions about application and legacy modernization.

Rewrite or modernize step by step?
Usually step by step. A full rewrite is the riskiest option and the hardest to pay for. We recommend it only when the evidence says the old system cannot be saved.
Can you work on a system you did not build?
Yes, after a short paid discovery that maps what is running and where it is fragile.
Will the business have downtime?
We plan the work so it does not. Each step is small, tested and reversible, and we agree the cut-over with you before it happens.

Tell us about the system.

Describe what it does, how old it is and what hurts. We reply with a clear next step, usually within 24 hours.
