Services · Architecture & modernization

Modernize what already runs, without stopping the business.

Architecture reviews, re-engineering, cloud migration and technical-debt work for systems that have outgrown their design.

How we modernize

From one tangled system to clear boundaries, one piece at a time.

We do not stop the business or rewrite everything at once. Old and new run side by side while the system is carved into parts that can change on their own.

Not every system needs to become microservices. We say so when a well-structured monolith is the better answer.

What is included

Four steps from “it works, but…” to “it can change”.

Each starts with an assessment, so you pay to change only what needs changing.

Understand

Know what you have before you touch it.
  • Software & solution architecture
  • Technology audits & assessments
  • Modernization assessment & roadmap
  • Technical due diligence
  • Enterprise architecture consulting

Rebuild

Change the structure, keep the behavior.
  • Legacy software modernization
  • Application reengineering
  • Application refactoring
  • Monolith-to-microservices transformation
  • Technology stack migration
  • Frontend modernization

Move

Change where it runs.
  • Database & data migration
  • Cloud migration
  • Application replatforming
  • System replacement & decommissioning

Pay down

Stop the slowdown.
  • Technical debt remediation
  • Application & infrastructure performance modernization
Typical situations

When teams come to us.

Speed

Every change takes longer than the last

We find where the design fights you, then remove the worst of it first: debt, coupling, a module nobody wants to touch.

Knowledge

It works, but nobody fully understands it

We read the system and write down what it does, where it is fragile and what each option would cost.

Platform

The hosting or the platform is reaching its end

We plan the move in stages, with a way back at each step, so the business keeps running while it happens.

What you get

Deliverables you will keep.

Concrete artifacts, documented and handed over.

An architecture and risk review
A modernization roadmap with options and costs
Written architecture decisions
A prioritized technical-debt backlog
A staged migration plan with rollback
Reengineered modules running in production
How to start

Three ways to begin.

Larger work starts with a short paid discovery.

FAQ

Questions about modernization.

Rewrite or refactor?
Usually neither first. We assess what the system does, where it hurts and what it costs, then recommend the smallest change that removes the pain: refactor, rebuild one module, or replace. A full rewrite is the exception and needs a written reason.
Can we keep shipping features during modernization?
Yes. We stage the work so the product keeps running and new features keep shipping, and the plan says plainly what is frozen and what is not.
How do you assess before quoting?
A short paid discovery. We read the architecture and the code, talk to the people who run the system, and write down what we found, with options and a rough range of effort.
Do you do technical due diligence for investors?
On request, yes: we review a product or a codebase for an investor or an acquirer and write down the risks, the debt and the cost to fix it.

Tell us what you are living with.

Describe the system and what hurts. We reply with a clear next step — usually within 24 hours.
